 Trello 

Trello is a software developed by Atlassian that organizes your projects into boards. You can have one glance and Trello will tell you what’s being worked on, who’s working on that and where something is, in the process. Trello allows you to add files and checklists. Trello is excellent at summarizing your team project. 

 

 

JIRA 

JIRA is a software also developed by Atlassian. If we were to look at Trello, they offer just Kanban boards, whereas Jira offers Kanban, scrum and sprint boards. Trello and JIRA can be integrated together and used together. JIRA is more of a documentation tool, while Trello is primarily a project management platform  

 

 

 

 

Microsoft Project 

Obviously developed by Microsoft, MS project is a project management application. Trello was designed for streamlining workflows while Microsoft Project is a fully-fledged project management solution. Jira is packed with many of the powerful features that can be found in Microsoft Project. All of these three applications are very similar and offer the same service, project management.
