Professional development is the act of learning and gaining experience in a particular field of work. The skills learned during professional development will always be linked to what field of work you are going under.

A way employability potential can be increased would be to enhance your skills on current and relevant skills. Another huge way employability potential can be increased would be through your personality. An employer sees your personality as a key factor when employing people. An example would be an employer who may want you to work in and around other employees/teams.

Employment security increases when professional development has been completed as it will help you get that edge over other people/competition. This is by if you were to have knowledge in AI for example, this is a current and relevant topic, meaning your job is more likely to be secured when this is the case. 


What can members access as part of their membership or professional body? 

Members can access, as part of their membership or professional body, a whole range of things. These include discounted technologies. Basically, any technology that would help out in your industry.  


What are professional bodies related to the digital sector involved in? 

Professional bodies are involved in representing their members, providing a range of things like education to the technology sector and providing technological equipment at a low and affordable price.
