Golman Sachs is responsible for providing a wide range of services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and individuals. 

 

 

What Laws do Goldman Sachs have to follow? 

  • GDPR and the data protection act – These acts must be followed by all companies. Goldman Sachs hold a lot of personal data from it’s clients and employees. So when dealing with data like this, they must keep it safe from the public. As they hold data on people’s finances, it is super important that they keep this data safe. As with all companies, they could get themselves in a lot of trouble with the law if they don’t follow these acts properly.  

 

  • Computer misuse act – This outlines the use of the computers are being used ethically.
